Gaston Seijas Photography: An introduction and some pictures

Hello there! My name is Gaston Seijas! Im a 15 year old Uruguayan "photographer" (I don't claim to be a photographer, it just means taking pictures is my passion). I started being passionate about photography when i was about 7-8 years old, I would look through the viewfinder of a film camera and entertain myself for hours. Also i loved to take pictures of my family when we were on a trip. The moment I turned 14 I started taking photography seriously, I started reading articles, watching videos, posting my pictures into forums so that people could tell me what they thought about it, and a lot A LOT of practicing. I talked into my parents to buy me a modest point and shoot camera which was perfect to start learning about this.

I recently bought my first DSLR, a Nikon d3200 with a Sigma 17-70 2.8-4 MACRO. I couldn't be happier. Photography means the world to me, my dream is to become a photographer. A professional photographer. However that dream is very, VERY, far away from me at the moment. On the other hand I think I'm getting better by the day, my pictures are improving and that makes me have hope.

A very important thing I learnt because of photography is that you wont be successful unless you fail. If you don't make mistakes how do you know you are doing it right? I have received very harsh critiques and comments which were always true. But you know what? I prefer a true harsh critique than a fake compliment.

So to sum up I will post the pictures i have taken so far and i will keep on posting as I improve with my skills. Please leave comments and critiques.
